What is awakening?
Names and dates can recede after a few of these teachings, and a movement becomes easier to see.
Ordinary life feels incomplete. A question deepens. Practice or grace meets it. Something in clinging or separation loosens. Softening the labels can reveal that shape. The named goals still diverge—nirvana, moksha, salvation, freedom—and the pattern is only an aid to recognition. Your path is not deleted when it appears.

When the search turns toward the seeker
